You must be 16 years and a confident swimmer. It maybe possible to camp at the site for a small fee. There is a Travelodge at Lowton approx. 1.5 miles away and a Premier Inn at Haydock a bit further on. This means the learner does the elearning part before the classroom session and prints off the elearning certificate to prove completion. They then attend the face to face day/s to finish the award. Less classroom time - can even be part completed at home.

So for Paediatric first aid complete up to 6 hrs of elearning and then attend for one full day to complete the full regulated award.

For a First Aid at Work initial course, complete up to 6 hrs of elearning and then attend for 2 days classroom work to gajn the full regulated award.

See https://www.richmondtrainingassociates.co.uk/first-aid-courses.html

Mark J. Any person who interacts with the public has a duty to prevent situations or incidents if they are equipped with the basic skills to analyse behaviours, imagine the benefit of preventing an unlawful protest from bringing a transport hub to a halt by recognising when someone is behaving with intent? Obvious occupations that would benefit are security staff, shopping mall / centre staff, rail and airport staff, stewards at public events for example festivals/ sports grounds etc.

This is why QNUK and MaST have developed a the BDA qualification, which is available to all public facing workers to provide them with introductory skills to make a difference and enhance public safety. RTA can provide this qualification. There are two options - 1. One in a primary school and two in a 6th form college. Essential for compliance. It took careful planning working with the Awarding Organisation and clients. A specific COVID-19 Safe risk assessment and Special Considerations via the Awarding Organisation to achieve the regulated assessments. Nice to get back to some real work.Essential course deliveryMark J. Why not work remotely and gain your Level 2 Award for Personal Licence Holders (RQF). This is the award you must have to enable you to apply to your local licensinjg authority for a Personal Licence. A Personal Licence means you are qualified to sell or authorise the sale of alcohol under a Premises Licence for example a public house.

The award can be completed at home via E Learning - once that has been passed you can complete the regulated award using a proctoring invigilation system with the Awarding Organisation using a computer and a smart phone. (Very easy to do all will be explained).

The cost is only £92.
The standard for this is normally Level 2 Food Safety courses, often in the form of a classroom based course and exam at the end of the course.
<span style="color: blue; font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">

<span style="color: blue; font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">That's not the complete story though - while food safety certificates do not expire, food handlers are expected to maintain a high level of food safety knowledge and stay up to date. Food businesses should provide ongoing training.
<span style="color: blue; font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">

<span style="color: blue; font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">A quick way of doing this would be to provide an online training course which then would evidence a refresher/cpd event for your staff should the EHO visit your premises.
<span style="color: blue; font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">

I plan to deliver more dates myself. Watch my website at www.richmondtrainingassociates.co.ukMark J. The RLSS UK have a report on their website of the breakdown of drownings in 2018. Well worth a read. Figures indicate that a total of 585 people lost their lives in 2018, compared to 592 in 2017.

The accidental drowning figures do reveal some variations in terms of previous year’s statistics:

Inland drowning (e.g. lakes, reservoirs, rivers etc) is up both against the three-year average (154 people) and against those people losing their lives to coastal drowning (73 people).

Drowning is a male dominated issue, with a ratio of seven males to one female losing their lives to drowning, however, analysis against three-year data shows an increase in females losing their lives in 2018 (33 people).

Drownings of individuals with alcohol or drugs in their system are down from 100 people in 2017 to 92 people in 2018.

The most startling fact is that the largest ‘grouping’ of people losing their lives in 2018 was once again, those people who had no intention of going into the water and were walking or running close to water (93 people)

.https://www.blogger.com/blogger.g?blogID=4068556186401637547#editor/target=post;postID=5224880438920241833

The need for increased water safety is paramount.
